On Sunday, August 14, many of the parishioners of the Holy Ascension Church went to the Russian Orthodox Cemetery, where the rector, Archpriest Pavel Volmensky, served a memorial service for Alexei Kirillov. The latter reposed in the Lord unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident a year ago.
In preparation for the anniversary, a monument was erected on the grave of the deceased. The design and cost of the monument were accomplished with the assistance and approval of Alexei's widow, Natalia Kirillova, who lives in Russia. See the photo gallery below.
